Loftstrand Forearm Crutch available in Adult, Child and Kiddie sizes - Created by A. R. Lofstrand, Jr, a Canadian, and patented in 1945. A crutch that is Green at heart this design has replacement parts. (call us to inquire) Our aluminum Loftstrand Crutches are featherweight but heavy duty with an aluminum casting on the handle for extra strength.

Measurements in fitting crutches to oneself are made from the palm of the hand to the floor with your arm parallel to the body. Forearm height adjustments are measured from the top of the hand grip to the top of the cuff. The cuff should be 1 to 2 inches below your bent elbow. It is best to have your elbow at a 30 degree curve.
